Paralelní Polis is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit organization that brings together art, social sciences, and modern technologies. The ideas of liberty, independence, and innovative thinking and development of society are the main underlying foundations the whole project is built upon.
The Hackers Congress at Paralelní Polis (HCPP) is an annual conference held by the Institute of Cryptoanarchy in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded by members of the Czech art and hacker scenes in 2014, their events cover a wide range of subjects concerning economic, social, and digital freedom. They also run the first bitcoin-only cafe — indeed, the only payment option for coffee, t-shirts, or hardware wallets is cryptocurrency.
